How we work
Through Conservation Storytelling we aim to help bridge the gap between conservation storytelling and funding. We believe that impactful stories deserve to be told, even when funding is scarce. Through innovative funding models, we help regional African conservation organisations bring their work to a global audience.

Monthly contributions subsidise conservation projects. We involve supporters in storytelling through behind-the-scenes access and engagement.

Sponsorships & Collaborations
Learn More
We partner with eco-conscious outdoor brands, NGOs and conservation organisations whose outreach goals align with our mission.

Direct Funding
Learn More
We partner with eco-conscious social-impact focused outdoor brands and NGOs and conservation organisations whose outreach goals align with our mission.

Financial support from Patreons, sponsorships and direct funding will allow us to offer subsidies during a funding cycle for small-medium conservation organisations. Funding will also be supplied through our own regular contributions via our own film and photography businesses at 5% donation per assignment (The Rusty Mokoro + Mana Meadows).
For mentorships and internships, we run our Prints for Purpose campaign (below).
Funding cycles occur every four months. When financial targets are met, projects can apply for support ahead of the funding cycle.

Prints for Purpose
By purchasing a limited edition print, 20% of the sale will go towards the Young Conservation Storytellers programme which offers internships and mentorships aimed at providing an opportunity and a platform for emerging Zimbabwean, Zambian or Batswana conservation storytellers.
We will updating our Prints for Purpose page and photographic print options soon. Please check back or send us a note here with a special inquiry.
